Several books by Australian and New Zealand authors have been longlisted for the €100,000 (A$166,000) International Dublin Literary Award, the world’s most valuable annual prize for a single work of fiction written in or translated into English.
Among the 70 books longlisted for the prize are:
- Birnam Wood (Eleanor Catton, Granta) *
- Feast (Emily O’Grady, A&U)
- Limberlost (Robbie Arnott, Text)
- Praiseworthy (Alexis Wright, Giramondo).
The books on this year’s longlist were nominated by 80 libraries around the world, while an international panel of judges will select the shortlist and winner, to be announced later this year.
