Tooth Fairy by Briony Stewart

Reviewed by Gail McDonald

Every single minute of every single day a child somewhere loses a tooth which is collected by the tooth fairy or tooth fairies – because there is more than just one.

The book explains what is a tooth fairy. And what they eat and a very important question – what do they do with all the teeth that they collect?  It also explains what kind of magic tooth fairies have including how they use fairy dust to help them fly and float, grow and shrink and many other skills.

The book even explains what happens if a child wants to keep their tooth (the tooth fairy leaves a gift anyway) and why tooth fairies give you money.

This is a fun book for the inquisitive child and a great source of answers that the parents can use to questions such as where do tooth fairies live and what is inside a tooth fairy’s house?

The illustrations are really quite enjoyable, and the storyline is easy to follow for the children and even an older child can be supported in reading the book themselves.
