Margaret and Colin Roderick Literary Award 2025

The Foundation for Australian Literary Studies (FALS) has announced the longlist for the Margaret and Colin Roderick Literary Award, worth $50,000.

The 10 longlisted titles, chosen from over 200 entries, are:

  • The Death of Dora Black(Lainie Anderson, Hachette)
  • Dusk(Robbie Arnott, Picador) *
  • Six Summers of Tash and Leopold Danielle Binks, Lothian)
  • Sanctuary(Garry Disher, Text)
  • Look Me in the Eye(Jane Godwin, Lothian)
  • One Another(Gail Jones, Text)
  • Disorders of the Blood(Leah Kaminsky, Puncher & Wattmann)
  • The Wobbly Bike(Darren McCallumillus by Craig Smith, Walker Books)
  • Fragile Creatures: A Memoir(Khin Myint, Black Inc.)
  • The Fighter: The Legendary Life of an Australian Champion(John Wayne Parr, with Jarrod Boyle, Hachette).

A shortlist will be announced in August, with the winner to be announced at a presentation in September.
