Margaret and Colin Roderick Literary Award 2025
The Foundation for Australian Literary Studies (FALS) has announced the longlist for the Margaret and Colin Roderick Literary Award, worth $50,000.
The 10 longlisted titles, chosen from over 200 entries, are:
- The Death of Dora Black(Lainie Anderson, Hachette)
- Dusk(Robbie Arnott, Picador) *
- Six Summers of Tash and Leopold Danielle Binks, Lothian)
- Sanctuary(Garry Disher, Text)
- Look Me in the Eye(Jane Godwin, Lothian)
- One Another(Gail Jones, Text)
- Disorders of the Blood(Leah Kaminsky, Puncher & Wattmann)
- The Wobbly Bike(Darren McCallum, illus by Craig Smith, Walker Books)
- Fragile Creatures: A Memoir(Khin Myint, Black Inc.)
- The Fighter: The Legendary Life of an Australian Champion(John Wayne Parr, with Jarrod Boyle, Hachette).
A shortlist will be announced in August, with the winner to be announced at a presentation in September.
